Sensei Ken Vanderlip
Sensei Ken Vanderlip, PH.D. is a 6th dan judo blackbelt who has been teaching judo with Sensei Bunasawa since 1978. Sensei Vanderlip was an instructor at Orange County Kodokan from 1978 to 1985. He has over 50 years’ experience in judo, as well as background training in the art of Tai Chi Chuan, and Jiu-Jitsu.
His teaching experience also includes teaching womans self-defense courses at Golden West College and training Uke for legendary Masahiko Kimura in 1981.
