Kevin's first tournament and he fought hard today.
Kevin throws his opponent twice! First for wazaari then for ippon! We are so proud of him and his effort in practice which paid off in the tournament.

Nanka Spring Tournament 6/4/23
This is a special technique that I gave to Tod from his ippon seoi nage. When the opponent tries to step around, he sticks his right leg out to catch his opponent's right foot and they go flying. In full speed it is so fast that you can't see it. So I added slow motion in the second part.
He has mastered this technique for sure.

Steven Torres (Bunasawa Kai Temecula Judo) scores wazaari with drop seoi nage and then taps out the opponent with a rolling bow and arrow choke which is a modified jigoku jime (hell choke).
